1. Gauges are an important way of finding out
what is going on inside your engine. Factory
dash gauges seldom give you all the info needed
and this is where Defi comes in.
2. There is a reason that Defi has been a top
choice for gauges. All Defi gauges come complete
with pods, wiring and instructions.
3. We mount our gauges on the A
pillar and here's a test fit of the oil
pressure, oil temperature and water temp.
4. All Defi gauges plug into this control link
module.
5. These aren't supplied by Defi but our
SpeedLab oil filter sandwich plate and radiator
T make installing the sensors a lot easier and
cleaner.
6. The sandwich plate actually goes here on the
stock oil filter location.
7. Here it is bolted to the filter screw.
8. We put some teflon tape on the oil pressure
sending unit.
9. The sandwich plate has provisions for 2
sensors.
10. The oil filter then gets screwed on top of
the sandwich plate.
11. The radiator T goes in between the stock
radiator hose. Its important that this has to be
before the water reaches radiator so that you'll
be reading hot water.
12. All plugged in and ready to glow. Defi
gauges come in three color variants, blue, white
and amber as seen here.
