1. Gauges are a universal mod that can be made
to any car, SUVs included like this Toyota
Fortuner.
2. The owner wanted something different aside
from the usual pillar mounted gauges. The
Fortuner's center dash has two receptacles that
seem to be made for holding the Defi's.
3. An oil sandwich plate is
used.
4. The oil temp and oil pressure sensors will be
screwed here.
5. A radiator T is used for the water temp
sensor.
6. We fabbed up custom enclosures for the gauges
from black acrylic.
7. No need for cup holders, besides the Defi's
look much better.
8. We test fit the panel on the dash.
9. And then test fit the gauges.
10. Wiring in the Defi Link, we turn it on and
check that all the gauges are working after
being wired.
11.The finished product. The black acrylic gives
the gauges an OEM look and feel.
12. Here's the other two gauges. The white face
is a perfect match for the stock gauge cluster.
