1994 Isuzu Trooper Devil's Own Alcohol Injection

1. Alcohol injection has actually been around since the early 40s and with the Devil's Own kit, you can literally put any kind of alcohol, even the drinking kind. 2. The Isuzu Trooper battled it out with the Pajero and Patrol during the 90s. But age has taken its toll on these vehicles and a shot brandy wakes them up. We start by mounting the pump inside the engine bay.

3. The stock rubber hose is too flimsy to hold the nozzle. We used a stainless steel elbow and silicon hoses instead, and mount the nozzle and boost switch.

4. A bracket is made for the reservoir beside the pump. 5. Here's the completed system mounted and ready to go. 6. We kid you not! That's real brandy we're pouring in there.
7. A run on the dyno determines how many horses we gain upon injection and to determine what mixture makes the most power. Each car is different and the dyno is the only way to test the various mixtures. 8. We tried several concentrations, starting from 30/70 up to 50/50. Brandy is 40% alcohol by volume and guess what? It made the most power! 7. Along with power increase, torque increased as well, this translates to better acceleration of the line and more pulling power.
