At first glance, the engine looks huge, but that's just the plastic
bits. We start by taking off the cover, and the entire intake system.

Once all the plastic is removed, there's quite a lot of room left in
the engine compartment.

This is the K&N short ram for the lancer. The tubing is 3" for
maximum flow volume and a straight shot into the throttle body.

This is the entire convoluted intake system. The smallest part of the
system is actually the ram air inlet.

A reducer hose was used to fit the short ram intake tube to the
throttle body.

The bracket on the tube bolts to the stock intake box bracket.
