Toyota Corolla Silvertop w/ Nitrous Express |

1.
The Silvertop 4AGE engines are a popular and relatively cheap (by Honda
standards) swap for Toyota owners, with power almost equal to Honda's
more famous B series motors.

2.
This particular car was to be a drag car and what better way to drop seconds
of your ET than bolting on a Nitrous Express system.

3.
Fuel and nitrous solenoids are attached to the bracket.

4.
Nice and snug, red and blue colors make the solenoid pretty.

5.
The solenoids are to be placed just a little below the shock tower due
to its proximity to the intake and fuel lines

6.
A hole was drilled in the intake tube for the bung to hold the nozzle.
This car will be running filterless during the race.

7.
The solenoids are then attached to the nozzle.

8.
Here we have the solenoid and nozzle attached to the intake.

9.
The driver wanted the bottle behind the rear passenger seat. This makes
running the line a bit easier since we don't have to run it all the way
to the back.

10.
Here the nitrous feed line is shown and attched to the nitrous solenoid.

11.
Here's a good place to mount the go fast button. Behind the
shifter enables instant activation after shifting, saving precious time
as opposed to extending your arm again to press a button on the dash.

12.
The master on/off is left dangling and will be hidden away under the lower
dash.

13.
The fuel line is cut and a T fitting is fitted to supply extra fuel.

14.
We bolted the brackets to thick piece of acrylic that wedges snugly behind
in the rear to hold in place.

15.
Instant access to the bottle valve and this Corolla is ready to rock.

15.
A smidgen over 180hp at peak, up from 135hp. Note the almost 60hp increase
at 5000rpm. Nitrous Express enabled this Corolla to rocket down the quarter
mile in the mid 14s.
