Nissan Sentra Nitrous Express |
|

1.
The Nissan GA16DE engine often gets the short end of the stick when pitted
against its big brother, the SR20DE, but a Nitrous Express kit certainly
closes that gap and then some.
|

2.
We start by running the nitrous feed line through the firewall.
|

3.
And on to the trunk under the carpet where the brackets are bolted to
the floor board.
|
|

4.
An L bracket holds both nitrous and fuel solenoids secure.
|

5.
We always recommend the nozzle having something sturdy to bolt on to instead
of the stock rubber hose. So we fabbed up a stainless steel tube to connect
the MAF to the throttle body.
|

6.
The owner chose to go with a moderate 35hp shot, and see how the engine
performs. A future 50hp shot upgrade is a distinct possibility.
|
|

7.
Shiny stainless steel beats black wrinkled rubber any day.
|

8.
The solenoids are bolted to the brake master cylinder. The nozzle is placed
underneath the steel tube.
|

9.
Master on/off switch was mounted below the headunit and the activation
button nearer the steering wheel.
|
|

10.
Every NX kit comes complete with installation and an initial load of N20,
hey what's the point of getting a nitrous kit if you can't use it the
minute you leave the shop?
|

11.
Loaded and ready, the additional 35hp will definitely swat away modded
D16 Hondas and even stock SiRs.
