2007 Ford Focus H&R springs

1. The Focus comes in sedan and hatchback variants with 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 engines. H&R springs will fit all these variants.

2. H&R springs will drop the Focus 1.5" all around for a more aggressive stance.

3. The Focus uses MacPherson struts in the front and the first order of business is to take out the shock assembly.

4. The Rear spring is separate from the shock.

5.Three bolts are loosened on the top.

6. Here's the shock assembly out of the car.

7. We use a spring compressor to take out the stock springs and slip in the H&R springs.

8. The upper shock mount is slipped back on.

9. And screwed in tightly.

10. Here's the assembled shock with the H&R springs. Installation is reverse of removal.

11. The rear spring is easier to take out, all that is needed is to drop the control arm.

12. And the H&R spring is fitted on.

13. Lower and meaner, all this car needs is a set of bigger wheels, preferably 18s.
