2005 Mazda 3 H&R Springs

1. You see a lot of Mazda 3s on the road and for good reason, they look good and easy to modify. Dropping a car is always on the top 3 first mods we make, so in go a set of H&R springs.

2. We first lift up the car and remove the wheels.

3. This suspension is common to the Mazda 3, Focus and S40, with very minimal changes.

4. The rear spring is now removed.

5.Three bolts are loosened on the top.

6. Here's the shock assembly out of the car.

7. We use a spring compressor to take out the stock springs.

8. The rubber boot is slipped back in place.

9. The upper shock mount is slipped back on.

10. We then puty back the entire shock and spring assembly.

11. The rear spring is easier to put back in, its simply slipped into place.

12. The strutbar is put back on and tightened.

13. Lower and meaner, all this car needs is a set of bigger wheels, preferably 18s.
