SpeedLab Car Club Dyno Day
  Jan 26, 2007, With over 45 cars from the various car clubs, SpeedLab hosted its first Car Club Dyno Day with representative from Honda Club, MitsuLancer, Grupo Toyota, Protege Tech, Ford Club, Kia Pride Club, VR Force, Prime Limit, Lightspeed, Club Mitsu & GRC. Participants were treated to a sumptuos buffet lunch followed by a short presentation on what SpeedLab is all about. The highlight of the event was of course the rafling of 10 free baseline dyno runs for lucky car owners. All eyes were on the cars as they went one after the other on the dyno with collective applauses from the audience as the horsepower numbers flashed on our Dastek Dyno readout. Some of the notable cars were a V6 MIVEC powered 4 door Lancer, a tricked out Ford Lynx and two Civic hatches representating all motor and turbo camps. Needless to say everyone had a blast and enjoyed the day.

Project Civic Shaves two seconds of quarter mile!
October 21, 2006, Manila Harbor Center. After a long hiatus, PDRF is back at the harbor. We took this opportunity to test what Project NX Civic is capable off. Running with a full interior, A-Toy bodykit, 18" Concept One wheels and sporting an automatic transmission to boot, Project NX Civic scampered the 1320 in a ho-hum 18.73 seconds in stock form. Putting on the squeeze, we blew past the quarter mile with a 16.89 pass! a 2.1 second improvement. A third pass brought down our ET further to 16.70 seconds.
