1. Everyone seems to think that nitrous purge is
just to show off. The real reason behind purging
is that you want cold liquid nitrous flowing
while you squeeze and not nitrous gas. A purge
kit is simply an extra solenoid and plumbing
lines.
2. We tap the nitrous supply from the bottle and
attach a T fitting to supply nitrous to the
extra solenoid.
3. Here's the T fitting just
before the inlet solenoid.
4. The line is plumbed underneath the car into
the purge solenoid. If you do want to show off,
you can the purge exit almost anywhere, from the
hood, the grill or everyone's fast and the
furious favorite, from the fender.
5. The hard line is then clamped underneath and
terminates just a little before the side skirt.
6. Press the button and whoooossshhhhh. Purge
galore!
7. A switch panel is used to control everything,
and yes, the big red button is used to purge.
