In line with technological developments in the original equipment (OE)
area, Bendix engineers have recently developed Bendix Advance which offers
optimised performance by combing the best of both categories of friction
materials. Bendix Advance not only offers good friction levels resulting
in a positive pedal feel, but also a low wearing material which maximises
the life of brake pads and disc rotors whilst at the same time providing
a low dust output for improved wheel cleanliness and silent operation.
Advance has been tailor made dependant on vehicle application. this ensures
correct fit, wear and braking characteristics for every vehicle with low
dusting and long life.
A heavy duty disc brake pad, Metal King Plus offers long pad life and excellent high temperature stopping without brake fade. A special backing layer unique to Bendix takes the heat out of Metal King Plus. It protects the braking system, particularly rubber parts and seals. By dramatically reducing heat transfer through the pad, it keeps the calipers cooler to make braking safer under high temperature and pressure conditions. It should be used when towing, carrying heavy loads or in the use of frequent stopping.
Bendix Ultimate is a high performance brake pad that offers the highest level of braking performance in terms of reduced stopping distances, excellent pedal feel and resistance to high temperature fade. Developed originally for use as Original Equipment (O.E.) on high performance vehicles, Ultimate is ideal for driving at freeway speeds and hard braking. Pre-conditioned during manufacture so there is no bedding-in required, Ultimate is recommended for sports, performance and prestige vehicles. At freeway speeds and beyond, Ultimate is unmatched for sheer stopping power. Ultimate should be fitted front and rear to maintain balanced driving between all four wheels.
